I wanna Live Here.

We visited Chicago last weekend, and I want to live right here near this park in downtown. It is incredibly awesome in Chicago and i want to go back again :) Being only a 5-hour drive away, its an easy trip, so we will surely go again!

The Occasional Blogger...

Okay so I haven't been posting much lately. I'm into another art form right now, as I tend to do: get into something else for awhile because I get bored very easily! I'm into some mixed-media right now, collages actually. Maybe I'll put up one of those soon.

But I still read all your blogs out there, especially the Minneapolis ones, they're important to me :)

Anyway, in reading around I found this one from a guy named Chuck Pefley- and I thought it was worthy or a look-see because I've never seen anything like it before!

The other thing I've enjoyed is of course the Vikings football, which I've never been into football but thats the great influence of someone you love, aka my fiance', and the Twins won again and are now Division champs, so its good to be a MINNESOTAN !!! Fun to see the teams get some victory for a change.

Where's the Bikes??

Stone Arch Bridge at night.

With the F-stop on about 13, the shutter stayed open for a long time. Two bikes came cruising through the shot, and I love that their red lights from their bicycles remained in this photo but the bikes are nowhere to be found...unless you're the ghost whisperer...

Photographers

More night shots from our walkabout. The lens stays open so long it can get blurry from movement or parts disappear!
Sometimes it's more fun shooting other photographers. Everyone who walks by asks the same questions, "What are you guys taking pictures for?"

We must come up with more snappy answers.

Shadows and Tripods

Shadowplay was what we were going for in this shot. Mickey standing still on the left, Dusty Lens Rob having no clue what I was doing and moving around on the right.
35w Bridge in all its LED glory in the backround.

Stone Arch Romance

In our walkabout last night, we came across this couple who let me take thier picture. They decided to kiss for most of it, and since the shutter stayed open so long, it captured the action well without too much fine detail, which I liked :)

Good Call, Mr. President

(regarding the VMA's and Taylor Swift...Google it if you don't know by now)
I have no pics to post. Nothing new has caught my eye.
Just saying hello.
Thanks for stopping by.
Won't be this way forever....

Bye-Bye, Scooby-Doo

What I was trying to get here was the fact that these SkyGlider seats held 2 adults
max, and the one couple had a freshly-won Scooby from the Midway. He was placed in a seat by himself, (did he have to pay the $3 ticket price to ride?! NO !) and it was so funny and everyone was giggling watching Scooby go on up. The only view I got was partially obstructed by the green pole, but made for a fun story anyway.
